Avalon Group is a well-established electrical contracting company based in East London and Essex. Led by two hands-on directors, Dale Thomas and Eddie Judd, we are proud to be an NICEIC Approved Contractor operating with a fleet of fully registered company vehicles. Our dedicated team includes approximately 20 on-site engineers and 4 office-based staff, all committed to delivering high-quality service with professionalism and integrity.

Our team is at the heart of our success. Many of our electricians began their careers with Avalon Group as apprentices, trained and mentored in-house, and have since grown into experienced, reliable professionals leading projects in their own right. This continuity and long-term investment in our people are core to our business model.

Each year, we take on at least one apprentice from the local community, helping to develop the next generation of skilled electricians. Eddie and Dale take great pride in watching these individuals grow—both professionally and personally. One of our earliest apprentices is now a qualified electrician, a father, and a homeowner—a true testament to the value of our approach. Staff retention is high because we treat our team as trusted and essential members of the business.

All employees are issued company uniforms and are expected to uphold our values of professionalism, courtesy, and respect at all times. Anti-social behaviour is not tolerated under any circumstances.

We also prioritise the wellbeing of our team. In addition to ongoing professional development through our Citation training system, we’ve recently launched an Employee Assistance Programme in partnership with Bupa. This provides 24/7, 365-day confidential support for mental and emotional wellbeing—also extended to household family members.
